It has been 3 years since I announced the new theory of nuclear shapes. It is The Static Nucleus Theory of the Face-Armored Cubic Lattice.
New website:
https://nuclear-data.com/simulated-atom ... -elements/
The theory gives correct-seeming shapes for many elements. Here are some highlights:
  • The cubic stacking of protons and neutrons in the core results in a hexagonal close-pack surface on the nucleus.
  • Protons make lines of protons, commonly.
  • Nitrogen has 3 prominent protons, creating the "triple bond".
  • Proton locations drive electron positions for many elements.
  • The website gives away 3D models of all 118 elements and images of many elements.
  • Carbon nuclear shape was described at the American Physical Society April 2022 Meeting in New York City.
This theory supersedes the old idea that Hoyle State helium nuclei may compose the light nuclei. The Standard Model of Particle physics has failed to give the shapes of any element in 62 years. Carbon was attempted by some researchers, but the Hoyle mistake was used.
